Masjid & Prayer Services
Al Furqan provides a fully functioning masjid for the local community, including the five daily prayers, Jumu’ah, Taraweeh and other important congregational prayers. We welcome both men and women and also host regular lectures, reminders and lessons to help worshippers stay connected to their faith throughout the year.
Madrasah
Our Madrasah is one of the core services we provide for children and young people. We offer structured Islamic education for boys and girls, supported by an organised curriculum, regular assessments and experienced teachers. With classes running in the evenings and at weekends, our aim is to help students build strong Islamic foundations, good character and confidence in their faith.
Ramadan Services
During Ramadan, the masjid becomes a vibrant centre of worship, reflection and community. We facilitate Taraweeh prayers, daily iftar provision and opportunities for charity and community engagement. This blessed month also allows us to support those in need, strengthen community ties and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for worshippers and visitors alike.
Sports & Youth
Young people are a vital part of our community, and we work hard to provide meaningful activities that keep them engaged, supported and inspired. Through youth sessions, sports, social activities and dedicated youth spaces, we aim to create a positive environment where young people can build friendships, develop confidence and grow into responsible members of society.
Sisters Programmes
Our sisters’ programmes provide a welcoming space for women to learn, connect and seek advice. These activities include social gatherings, Islamic learning and dedicated classes designed to support spiritual growth, wellbeing and community connection. We want sisters from all backgrounds to feel included, valued and supported.
Social Support & Counselling
We understand that members of the community often need practical help as well as spiritual support. Al Furqan offers guidance and counselling on a range of personal and family matters, and also assists with forms, council-related matters and other everyday difficulties where possible. Our goal is to serve the community with compassion, dignity and care.
Community Education & Development
Beyond our regular services, we also support wider educational and developmental opportunities for the community. Public information about the Trust highlights Islamic education alongside supplementary learning and community-focused courses intended to help empower individuals and strengthen future generations
