Your hall booking is confirmed once you have completed the booking process and payment has been successfully made. After payment, your booking is automatically confirmed unless Al Furqan Education Trust cancels it in line with the Hall Booking Terms & Conditions.
There are two hall hire services:
Hall Hire: Weekday Day Rate
For weekday daytime bookings during off-peak hours, available Monday to Thursday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Hall Hire: Evening / Weekend Rate
For peak-time bookings, available Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and Saturday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
All booking prices shown include £100 refundable security deposit.
Off-peak times are available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from:
10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
The off-peak rate is £80 per hour.

Peak times are charged at £100 per hour.
Peak times are:
Monday to Thursday: 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Friday: 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM

Yes, but you must make two separate bookings because off-peak and peak times are separate services.
For example, if you want the hall on Monday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, you must book:
Hall Hire: Weekday Day Rate from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
and
Hall Hire: Evening / Weekend Rate from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
This is only applicable from Monday to Thursday and it is because the day rate and evening/peak rate are separate services with different prices.
The system treats them separately, so each part must be booked and paid for separately.
Each booking includes a £100 refundable security deposit.
For example: The hall is booked for three hours during off peak hours. The total cost will be £80 x 3 hours which is £240 plus £100 refundable security deposit = £340.
Prices shown include a £100 refundable security deposit.
The security deposit is refundable after your event has ended, provided all deposit conditions have been met.
The security deposit refund will be processed within 14 days after the event.
Al Furqan Education Trust may deduct reasonable costs from the security deposit if (not limited to):
– There is damage to the hall, property, fixtures, fittings, furniture, or equipment.
– The hall requires extra cleaning beyond normal use.
– The event finishes late or the hall is not vacated on time.
– The cancellation rules are breached.
– Any other Hall Booking Terms & Conditions are breached.
If the cost of damage, cleaning, late finish, or breach exceeds the £100 security deposit, the customer may be required to pay the additional reasonable cost.
Yes. Full payment is required at the time of booking. This includes the hall hire charge and the refundable £100 security deposit.
If Al Furqan Education Trust cancels your booking, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid, including the refundable security deposit.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method. The time it takes to appear will depend on your bank, card provider, or payment provider however, we aim to process the refunds within 7 working days.
Yes. If you wish to cancel, you must contact Al Furqan Education Trust as soon as possible by emailing:

Refunds for customer cancellations will be considered fairly and reasonably, taking into account the timing of the cancellation, costs already incurred, payment processing costs, admin work carried out, and whether the hall can be rebooked.

Changes are subject to availability and approval by Al Furqan Education Trust. An admin fee may apply, and additional hire charges may be required if the change increases the booking duration or moves the booking into a higher-priced service.
Hall hire will include:
– Banquet tables and chairs for up to 100 attendees
– Use of the hall during the booked time
– Basic hall decoration where available
– An event steward to assist with the directions and car parking.
All facilities are subject to availability and the agreed setup.
The hall can accommodate up to 100 attendees, subject to the agreed setup and safe use of the space.
Yes. External catering is permitted. Customers may bring food into the hall, and space may be available to serve and keep food during the booking.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that all food brought into the hall is handled, stored, served, and removed safely.
Yes. All food, containers, catering items, rubbish, and waste must be removed by the end of the booking unless otherwise agreed.
Yes. If you require a partition or separate areas for men and women, you should request this during the booking process. Al Furqan Education Trust will try to accommodate the request where possible, subject to availability, hall layout, and practical arrangements.
Additional decorations must be agreed in advance. Decorations must not damage walls, ceilings, floors, windows, fixtures, fittings, furniture, or equipment.
No items should be used if they may cause damage. Nails, screws, strong adhesives, tape, or anything likely to damage the hall must not be used.
Access is only permitted during the booked time unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Your booked time must include setup, guest arrival, event time, food serving, packing away, cleaning, and departure.
If the event finishes late or the hall is not vacated on time, additional charges will apply and will be deducted from the refundable security deposit.
The hall must be left clean and tidy. The customer is responsible for removing all rubbish, food waste, decorations, personal belongings, catering items, and any other items brought into the hall.
No. Alcohol, smoking, and vaping inside the premises are not permitted.
Open flames, candles, fireworks, or pyrotechnics are not permitted unless expressly agreed in writing by Al Furqan Education Trust.
The customer is responsible for the conduct, behaviour, and supervision of all guests, suppliers, caterers, decorators, and anyone attending as part of the booking.
Al Furqan Education Trust is not responsible for personal belongings, valuables, equipment, decorations, food, gifts, or any other items brought into the hall, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
Photography and filming are the responsibility of the customer. The customer must ensure that it is respectful, appropriate, and carried out with any permissions required from attendees.
